Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take out taxes?

No. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes.
We do not withhold anything. At the end of the year, you will receive a 1099 if you meet the reporting threshold. Keep track of your earnings, mileage (if applicable), and business expenses — many operators use simple bookkeeping apps or spreadsheets.

What are the callers like?

Callers come from every background imaginable. You’ll get:

  • shy first-timers
  • long-term loyal regulars
  • roleplay-focused guys
  • fetish callers
  • chatty conversationalists
  • direct and to-the-point callers

Most are respectful, polite, and genuinely just looking to escape stress, feel desired, or explore fantasies safely. Your job is to read the energy, adapt quickly, and make this client feel like your only client. Remember: to them, the fantasy is personal.

Do I have to do extreme or taboo fetish calls?

Yes.
Our service advertises itself as open-minded and fantasy-friendly. This means you will encounter a range of scenarios. Talking about a fantasy is not the same as endorsing or participating in real-life behavior.

If there are hard limits you refuse to even verbally discuss, this company probably isn’t the right fit. Clients choose Lusty Voice because our operators are unshakable, calm, professional, and confident — not judgmental.

Can I walk around my house and do other things during my shift?

Yes. Many operators multitask during downtime: cooking, tidying, gaming, reading, folding laundry, studying, etc.
The rules are simple:

  • Keep your phone on you at all times
  • Answer immediately when it rings
  • No taking calls in public places or around other people
  • No answering in stores, restaurants, or while driving

Your environment must be quiet, private, and consistent.

Things you cannot do during your shift:

  • Take a shower.
  • Dye your hair
  • Walk your dog.
  • Leave your phone in another room.

Are calls back-to-back?

No.
There are ebbs and flows throughout the day, the week, the month, and the year. New agents will experience more downtime until their profiles gain traction. As you build regulars, call volume increases. Even established operators still have gaps between calls — that’s the nature of the industry.

Do I have to meet an average?

No. There are no quotas or minimums.
However, agents who set personal goals (hourly, weekly, or monthly) tend to stay more motivated and earn more over time.

Can I work part-time?

Yes.
Just remember:

  • Fewer hours = fewer opportunities for calls
  • Irregular schedules = slower clientele growth
  • Lower pay at 50 cents per minute

Part-time is perfectly doable, but results depend heavily on consistency.

Can I work for another service?

Yes.
You’re a contractor, not an employee. You can work with multiple companies at once.
We only ask for professionalism and transparency, especially regarding scheduling or any other conflicts. We also collaborate with another service, so being multi-platform is not a problem, and we can even refer you to a company we trust.

Do I need prior experience?

No.
We can coach you on:

  • persona creation
  • call structure
  • improvisation
  • staying in character
  • handling fantasy content professionally

What is required:

  • maturity
  • emotional intelligence
  • reliability
  • strong voice presence
  • willingness to learn
  • ability to handle unusual calls without freezing

If you’re coachable, you can succeed.

Do I have to stick to a schedule?

Yes.
You choose your schedule, but once it’s posted, we expect you to honor it. Clients depend on operator availability, and inconsistency hurts the entire service.

If you need time off, communicate it before your shift begins. Emergencies happen, but disappearing repeatedly is grounds for termination.

Do I have to have a landline?

No.
A reliable cell phone works just fine.
Requirements:

  • clear signal
  • strong volume
  • no background noise
  • no speakerphone
  • stable internet if using the online login panel

Your audio is your product — it must sound clean.

How do I sign in to work?

You’ll be given credentials to log in either:

  • via your phone, or
  • via our automated online system

Once logged in, calls automatically route to you during your scheduled hours. No dispatchers, no manual answering, no texting.

How much money will I make?

Earnings depend entirely on:

  • Total Hours worked
  • Reliability
  • Skill level
  • Persona appeal
  • Creativity
  • Consistency

Phone entertainment is performance-based income. This isn’t instant money — you build your base over time. Agents who show up, take calls seriously, and improve their technique earn significantly more.

Do you hire men?

No.
We currently hire women only for our call style and branding. This includes cis women and trans women who present and perform vocally as female.
